Newly rebuilt and in a new location since Katrina. Our food was good. I had an oyster po-boy. Nice selection of draft beer and very pleasant atmosphere! Cute, small gift shop!

The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was very comfortable and pleasing. It is a great place for families or for a couples night out. The food selections include something for most everyone. I did notice the lunch menu as I was visiting for dinner. Lunch specials are very reasonable and also offer a great selection. The dinner prices are moderate considering this is a seafood restaurant. My dinner selection included oysters on the half shell with an ice cold beer for an appetizer, and Broiled Speckled Trout with Cat Island Sauce and loaded baked potato for my entree. The Cat Island Sauce consisted of Artichoke hearts, lump crab meat, shrimp, in a lemony sauce. Absolutely Delicious!!!

I have heard for years that Steve's Marina was one of the best places to eat fresh seafood on the coast. Boy was I disappointed....I walked in the door for dinner at 6:45pm, ordered 2 appetizers and one entree....at 7:20 I was walking out. All the food was pre-cooked, and it looked it...I truely expected to be there for at least an hour.....but when appetizers came out in less than 10 minutes my fiance and I knew all the food was pre-cooked.... not prepped like all fine restaurants, but PRE COOKED. I will not ever go to Steve's again.

It was kindof pricey but man they give you plenty of food. we got the seafood platter and shrimp creole. both were excellent and abundant. Two entres and drinks was $45. Not to bad, just looks that way on paper. The food was awesome!

We went into Steve's Marina on Sunday evening about 6 pm. There were a few people in front of us so we had to wait ----that really was no big deal---now days you have to wait for a lot of things. When our name was called a relatively short time later (quicker than we expected) we were asked to follow a young lady to our table. She began walking toward the tables without a glance in our direction and laid the menus down on a table for two. Without a smile, a word of greeting or anything she walked away. We sat down and began to look at the menu. We sat for over 15 minutes without anyone acknowledging our presence. No one bothered to say that someone would be right with us. No one came and took our drink order. No one did anything but ignore us. Now, mind you, people all around us were getting this and that, but we couldn't be given the time of day. Needless to say, by the almost 20 minute mark we were not happy---but again no one cared. So we walked out---I did tell them at the desk that if they did not want to wait on customers they should find some other job, because they certainly were not working the position they had. The response was "oh, okay." There is no excuse for rudeness---especially when the people you are rude to are contributing to your salary.
