The Lynn Meadows Discovery Center was the first children's museum in Mississippi and is renowned for its interactive displays and exhibits to simulate the fascinating world of South Mississippi. The museum is located in the Mississippi City area of Gulfport, across Highway 90 from the Gulf of Mexico. Outside the center is a six-acre educational playground, that features a tree-house village, a woodsy cabin, and a running stream.
